Bhāva: A Theory of Imagination
In this episode of the podcast, we share an excerpt from the 30-Day Sādhana on the topic of bhāva, a Sanskrit word which has a number of different meanings, including emotion, being, becoming, and denotes a state of things that we bring into being through practice. It grounds a theory of imagination that is both illuminating and empowering. It grounds our understanding of how and why visualization practices are effective. It is a central theoretical concept that we're exploring as we investigate the yoga text, the Matsyendrasaṃhitā, throughout the 30 days of the challenge.

    Is this the principle behind Shiva and Shakti-- with Shiva being the underlying, unchanging infinite observer, and Shakti behind the creative manifestation of all things that is, thus being the perceived?

    All things are dual shiva shakti feminine masculine etc. The concept of an opposite or inverse exists in balance in all things (meaning everything is a duality) Even formlessness is within the set of form-fulness that makes up the universe

    I realised that I have gone suddenly sensitive towards blood related contents . Now while watching something grue, it always feels like some kind of blade is slid over my arm and of course it hurts. I was told by someone that it can be a psychosomatic response.. I am here to gather some information on it

    "Maya" literally means "to measure", "to evaluate". Who am I? What is the universe? What is the source of all the phenomena, of all that appears? The evaluation depends on knowledge, which is always incomplete. Therefore, the evaluation, the measurement, is "what is not". If one takes the idea, the concept, as the truth, one is living under illusion. That is why the word "maya" is related with illusion. Without this illusion, there in absolutely no separation, no division. The form and the non-form, the manifest and the unmanifested are the same life-consciousness.

    Kudos for what you are doing. i had some experience with embodiment and it feels really beautiful. The difference between thinking about oneself and being oneself is similar to a difference between thinking about living one's life and actually living it. Being concerned with oneself blocks oneself from the true embodied experience of life.

    As a matter of fact initially there was only Prana.....PRANA , LIGHT and GAYATRI MANTRA are one and the same.....PRANA + DESIRE = ENERGY (Shakti) , ENERGY + FOCUSSED ATTENTION ( Brahma) = MATTER.... So, we should emulate such process during our meditation time (Brahma Muhurta at Khumbaka state).....in order to create one´s own heaven on earth...because we are Brahma ( focussed atention)....Never ever we ought to forget such precious concept..

Big bang is concept float by Western science and struggling to find evidence. Please stop making such videos with wrong information for sake of mankind and treat your patients that is your expertise

    Lot of things she pulled out from famous gurus like osho and sadguru and Chinmay mission. Pathetic that she has so much money being doctor then use time and energy to uplift self by studying and not creating wrong representation of such a deep and spiritual subject.

    Complete BS representation of mahavidya. Something is catered in English and person is Indian origin with doctorate degree never mean person knows it. Mahavidya isn't for liberation or example of Kali - people should stop encashing anything and everything for money

      who founded yoga, was it Patanjali?

    • @chantharekrishna8398
      @chantharekrishna8398 9 днів тому

      @@akaniowahyu8533No. Yoga means addition (connect with god). Patanjali wrote a book on yoga, and gave his view on yoga. Traditionally, yoga is from god, no one created this system. Yoga is mention in vedic literature, dated more than 3500 years ago. Patanjali came later. He promoted Astanga Yoga over other yogic system. But Vendanta school consider Bhakti Yoga as supreme path.

    This is my GIFT to you and anyone reading this.. These suggestions have made me the person I am today. So take one or two or all of them and transform yourself to a super being. Thank me later. I personally did and do everything listed below and I got massive results. 1. Write out a statement of your Short Term Goal AND your Chief Aim/Main Goal... on a "goal card" or paper. 2. Write it out 50 times a day for 30 days preferably around the same time each day. After the 30 days, you go back and write it out ONCE a day. This is your compass in life. 3. Set your phone alarm to go off every 3 hours (to disrupt your daily routine) and when it goes off write down your statement and then close your eyes and see yourself with your goal for 2 mins. 4. Record your statement in your voice on a voice recorder on your phone, and play it back to yourself on loop while you sleep and as often as you can daily, example... in the shower or when you are using the rest room. 5. Find an accountability partner. If you cannot find someone, then you MUST write out your statement DAILY. By doing this you make yourself accountable to YOURSELF. 6. Find a community or FB group/group chat, etc and from that community form a Mastermind with one or two people who have studied from REAL Mentors and are giving VALUE. There is a "Law of Giving" and many people are using it. Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill this back in the early 1900s. Its a LAW and it works. Its what I am doing with this post. 7. Auto-Suggest (Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4) to yourself in front of the mirror in the bathroom at least twice a day. Look directly INTO your eyes OR one eye and recite your WRITTEN statement. Then splash cold water on your face. This sudden shock seals the thought into the subconscious due to emotional and physical shock from the cold water. 8. Write out ten "I AM" statements a day. example. I AM happy, I AM more confident. Use the word MORE; implying you already have it, but want more. You trick the brain. 9. Write out 5 things you HAVE that you are grateful for and 5 things that you are grateful for that are coming to you. Mix up the list one after the other. 10. When in public tell people you see that you love them in your mind. Simply say "I LOVE YOU" to them as you pass them, especially when driving, because their subconscious hears and FEELS the intention. Say it to about 10 to 15 people daily. This increases your Good Karma. It might seem like a lot. But it took me less than two weeks to incorporate the list into my life and 32 days later I started getting massive results. What have you got to lose, try some or ALL and see your results. Let me know know too. Have a great day... and thanks for reading.
